CPD – 25th October 2013

Just realised the importance and “essentialness” of lesson planning. Great ideas and tips gained in learning the art of lesson planning. Understood that it can benefit a lot in the way we expect lessons to turn out. One way, could be by “snowballing” questions that eventually lead towards the lesson objectives and outcomes being met the way we wanted to.

Another, would be by being more prepared physically and mentally to take any queries or actions by the students during the lessons. This is because the ‘detaildness’ of the lesson plan helps us brainstorm possible outcomes and alternatives toward a particular activity!

Also, learnt that a whole lesson could be done in 20 minutes which is great because the students will be more engaged with the “going further” elements later on in the lesson.
